After her debut year, Te KuraHuia was successful in her application for
2023 NEW MUSIC PASIFIKA NEW ZEALAND ON AIR FUNDING
which she is excited to be releasing her next single “PRETTY GAL CLUB” 22nd of Dec 2023 which will also kick of the release of her next EP
“Astro-Tīpuna” in January 2024
She had opportunities to collaborate and grow with artists like Tiki Taane & Black Comet to which they released “BMW Remix” in July 2023.
She had the opportunity to close the Mana Wahine showcase for the FIFA Fan Festival in Wellington May 2023.
She was also a recipient of the BIG FAN “Fan Camp VOL.2 Pasifika” collaborating with Artists such as Kenzie from Wellys and Jordyn with a Why Nov 2023.

Recently Te KuraHuia has been studying Acting at the National Drama school
“Te Kura Toi Whakaari o Aotearoa” furthering her knowledge in Performing Arts.
She took Tawa College to their Secondary Regional Kapa Haka competition in June 2023 whilst working as an artist producing her own music.
She also went to Tkaronto, Canada to represent her tribe Ngāi Tara for the international indigenous film festival ImagineNATIVE as The Untold Tales of Tūteremoana a trilogy of tribal stories was programmed to screen.
“As a multidisciplinary artist, I have many different skills that I apply within all my work. I love to give back to my people of all the communities I have been a part of throughout the years as I believe my purpose in this lifetime is to learn so that I can teach.” - Te KuraHuia

In 2022, Te KuraHuia toured her Debut Visual EP internationally to Paris and Canada where she performed for the Asinabka Media & Arts Film Festival and spoke as an Indigenous Filmmaker on a panel with Sterlin Harjo co-writer of Reservation Dogs in Kahnawake, Montreal CANADA.
She was a successful recipient of the Waiata Takitahi Funding by Te Māngai Pāho producing and directing her last Single project entitled "Uha".
Te KuraHuia was awarded “Te Tohu Kaipūoro Rangatahi” from the Waiata Māori Music Awards in Heretaunga and was also nominated for two Student Radio Network Awards and won the SRNZ People’s Choice Award in 2022.
